He probably meant that Lagat isn't as fast as he was when he ran 3:29 in 2006, the last time he broke 3:32.

HEY!!  IF YOU KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT RUNNING YOU WOULD KNOW THAT BENARD LAGAT RAN 3:26, NOT 3:29 AND HE RAN IT on aug. 24th, 2001 in Brussels and was about .3 off the wr.  Before you go shouting off the stats you should probably back it up with the CORRECT information.  You may say it is on 3 seconds... but that is a ton in the 1500m, especially when you run professionally!

If this guy knew anything about track maybe this interview would have been less stoopid.  This guy is talking to Bernard Lagat and i bet has no clue what Lagat means when he said, I'm not as quick as when I ran 3:29", back in whatever year.
