o  Twelve boys and girls will be selected

o  The Marine Corps Holiday Classic and The US Air Force Hispanic Games will be the only automatic qualifying races at The Armory during the 2021-2022 season.

o  For automatic bids, only the winner will receive an invitation! 2nd, 3rd, 4th (etc) places will not slide up into auto qualifying spots if the runners in front decline the invitation or if they have already qualified.

o  We will fill the remaining slots based on 2021-22 indoor season performances and invitations that will be sent to athletes outside of the area. Rare exceptions may be made for boys who have run under 4:10 and girls who have run under 4:50 during the 2021 outdoor season.

o  Full Fields will be posted on ArmoryTrack.com January 18th

o  This year's Millrose Games HS Miles will be run as junior events - NB will provide uniforms for them.

AUTOMATIC QUALIFYING RACES

* The Winner of these races will only receive an invitation if they have broken 4:15/4:55 in the full mile at some point in their career as of 1/12/22.  Otherwise those invitations become "at large" bids.
